DATIL A COWTOWN TO LOVE
Navajo woman weaver at loom makeing a rug.
NAVAJO LODGE IN DATIL AROUND 1920, CHECK THE OLD CARS.
THE EAGLE GUEST RANCH IN DATIL NEW MEXICO IS NOT REALLY A RANCH AS MUCH AS IT IS A GROCERY, RESTAURANT, SERVICE STATION IN THE MIDDLE OF DATIL. HAVING NOT BEEN THERE IN SOME TIME ALL I CAN RECALL IS THE SIZE OF THE STEAK IT WAS AS IF THEY WERE USING A SMALLER DINNER PLATE AS THERE WAS A LOT OF STEAK TO EAT. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY SPECIALS USED TO BE MOUNTAIN OYSTERS AND SWEETBREADS DON'T KNOW IF THEY STILL DO.
